Holiday candy – chocolate/coconut almonds

If you like Bounty bars and mixed with almonds, then you will love these. I made them for the first time last year when I wanted to make some sort of candy and used what I had n the kitchen. And now I’ll make sure always to have these things in the kitchen over Christmas. And they are so easy to make, all you need at three simple things;
2 cups of almonds, roughly chopped
1 ½ tbsp of coconut oil
1 cup of dar chocolate chips
Heat the coconut oil in a Teflon pan at medium heat. Add the almonds. Let them roast for a few minutes until the oil has dissolved and the almonds are nice and fragrant.
Melt the chocolate chips and stir in the coconutty almonds. Now you need to spoon the mixture into little candy molds and wait till they set. You can also spread the mixture on a piece of greaseproof paper. Wait till it sets and cut it into squares.
There you go, quick, yummy and easy.
The combination of coconut and almonds always makes me happy!
