A few things….to organize your home

Its Saturday night and I’m home alone for the evening. So I’m enjoying a bit of Maria Time with Masterchef Australia, a tub of Ben & Jerry’s Caramel Chew Chew and polishing my nails. Lovely girly me time. It’s been a few months since I wrote about a few things that I love and thought that it was about time to write about some new things that I love right now. This time it will be all about organizing your home. I love a clean and neat home, but it still has to be cozy and warm.
Our bathroom needed to be tidied up a bit, so I went on a shopping trip to find some things to organize our (mostly my) stuff.
First stop was Magasin, a huge department store in Copenhagen. I have known the Danish company Nomess Copenhagen for a few years now, but I never owned any of their products –until now that is.
Nomess Copenhagen makes lots of different acrylic organizational products for your home; boxes, soap dispensers, hangers, filing boxes. They have a bunch of stuff to get your home organized in a clean and modern way. I love it!
I bought an amazing make up organizer with lots of room to store and still display my favorite make-up. I also bought a clear twin organizer for q-tips and cotton pads.
I really like Nomess products because they are so simple and still very classy.
Next stop was a cute little store down the street from Magasin called FannyMia. There I found these beautiful boxes, perfect for all of my hair products, creams and moisturizers. Again it’s a Danish company, called House Doctor. It’s a family driven company and they make lots and lots of amazing and colorful boxes, in many different sizes. I bought two boxes, about the same size but one is a bit wider than the other. And I love them.
Now I have a lot of nail polish and I used to just have them in a wooden box. It was easy to throw them in there, but not very easy see all the different colors I have. So Sillas surprised me one day with a bunch of clear boxes, perfect for all of my nail polish. So now I actually have them color coordinated. The boxes are bought in a chain store called Søstrene Grene -The Sisters Grene.
